Emberfall Saga
Emberfall Saga is a proper RPG that respects your phone's limits without dumbing itself down. You gather a party of mismatched heroes, each with their own quirks and skill trees, and work through a story that takes its time to introduce you to a surprisingly thoughtful world.
Combat is turn-based and leans on positioning. Flank an enemy, set up a combo between two characters, and watch a tough fight fall apart in your favour. The difficulty curve is fair — early chapters ease you in, and later encounters genuinely ask you to think about your line-up and gear.
The writing is better than it needs to be, with side characters who get real moments instead of being pure quest-dispensers. If you miss long RPGs and only have a phone handy, this one earns its hours.
